This was to be the last portfolio image from 350 images taken that trip to Salisbury.
This is just an image of the buildings either side of the street with a fish and chips sign to the right.
It is once again just the colours and shapes in the negative space that make this image interesting.

I am loving the affect I am getting from over exposing the scene giving me a very minimalistic image with only shapes and colour.

This was to be my first trip to Salisbury trying out my new style of photography.
I have tryed to get a good image in this spot for a long time as I always thought there was one to be had but never succeeded.
Well this time I did get this image which I am very pleased with.

This was to be my second image taken in my new found style.
How I capture these images is to take them + 3 stops over exposed which blows out the highlights hence creating a very minimalistic
image.

Having spent a long time struggling to find any inspiration in my photography I found myself very close to giving up and selling all my photographic equipment.
But one evening sitting at home I had an idea for creating new images, this was to be my last chance before I sold everything.
So off I headed to Poole and shot about 200 images in my new style not knowing whether this would save my long time passion of creating Abstract art?
Back at the computer I saw images that made me fall in love with my photography again, this one was to be the beginning of a new journey.
As you can see they are in the same style but with a new look.

Well you may be thinking what happened to 2025?
I was so busy moving house and suffering from lack of inspiration in my photography, although I did try some macro work but could not get much enthusiasm for it.
The time away from my abstract work has done me good so am looking foward to a new year getting back to wear my hart lies creating abstract images.
So I will start with this image from Poole high street and hope there are many more to come.
