For a couple of years now I have been struggling to find any inspiration or enthusiasm in my photography, having tried various subjects and styles I took the decision to finally after many years making images to retire my camera.
This left me with a huge gap in my life to fill, after many hours of trying to come up with a new hobby I decided to try mixed media collage art which seemed to be a good progression from my type of photography as I can continue to create abstract art.
I am using a mixture of photography, paper cuttings and paints to create my abstract vision. Not only am I loving the process but also the art I am able to make.
This image is my first successful attempt after many failures and finding out what works.
I have now found renewed inspiration and loving every minute of creating a final piece of art.
This was to be my second attempt in my new journey into the world of mixed media art.
Not only have I always loved abstract art but also surrealism I hope I have managed to capture that in this piece?
