Description
Captured in Salisbury high street.
Coming to the end of another year this image may be one of my favourites,
I have not captured many good images from Salisbury high street which is strange as the buildings are very old and interesting but will continue trying.

Captured in Poole Dorset.
Another visit to Poole but I have made so many good images from here and it is only 30 minutes from my house.
This was a very busy day in the high street and I managed to make this image, once again going for the high contrast look that I am so fond of.

October 2024, 45mm, f6.3, 1.3sec.
Description
Captured in Salisbury town centre.
I love the ghostly feel of this image of two people standing to the left of four people sitting on a bench.
You may ask how do I know what in my mind makes a good portfolio image? The answer is when I see it I just know, it gives me a feeling of excitement that I managed to capture an image I love.

Description
Captured in Salisbury town centre
I had taken over 100 shots in Salisbury this day and as I always do I run through them that day or the next on my computer while they are still fresh in my mind.
This was the only one that made into my portfolio loving the minimalistic hign contrast look.

Captured in Poole Dorset
I love this type of minimalistic high contrast images where you can only use your imagination to see.
This is a lady in a white flowing summer dress.
It is very hard to capture this type of image that works and I have tryed so many times.

Captured in Winchester Hampshire
Another image taken at the side of the cathedral this time of a lady walking uner the archways.
I did think I would try taking some images inside the cathedral as I had at Salisbury but this cathedral was no nowhere as near photogenic and moody so I ended up with no portfolio images.

Captured in Winchester Hampshire
This was to be one of many trips to Winchester,
Taken at the side of Winchester cathedral under the walkway arches.
In post processing I turned it into a minimalistic image which I think works well.

Captured in Salisbury town centre
For those of you who are observant you will see I have changed my camera for a Hasselblad X2D as after using the X1D for a while I decided the X2D better suited my shooting style.
This image was of a girl in a flowing white dress walking in Salisbury town centre which became one of my granddaughters favouite images so she now has it framed on her wall.

April 2024, Hasselblad X1D II, 45mm, f5.6, 1.75sec.
Description
Captured at Christchurch Harbour
It has been a while since I made a worthy portfolio image, so armed with a new camera and lens I headed down to Christchurch harbour and made this image of the moored boats.
For me what makes this image is the steaks of light made by the suns reflection on the water.

Captured in Salisbury Cathedral
This image is not only one of my favouite from the Cathedral but still remains one of my all time best.
It is a man standing by the old clock and I see him dressed in a trench coat maybe going to war?
So many people see my images in different ways.

Captured in Salisubury Cathedral
On the same visit as image 519 which was turning out to be a very productive day I captured this image of a croud standing in front of the old clock dating back to 1386 and considered to be the worlds oldest working mechaical clock.
Although I was very pleased with this image the next one turned out to be my all time favourite from my two trips to the cathedral.

Description
Captured in Salisbury Cathedral
After visiting the Cathedral and having produced some images that I am very pleased with I had to return to see if I could add to this cocollection.
This is one of those images that I was not certain whether I liked but in time it grew on me hence making it into my portfolio.
